TEK480 LIMITED / SUPORTR

Privacy Policy & Cookies

How TEK480 LIMITED handles information collected through the Suportr website, including enquiry forms, device preferences and third-party services.

Effective date: 31 October 2026 · Website: suportr.com

Who runs this website?

TEK480 LIMITED (company no. 16415075) is the data controller for enquiries submitted through the Suportr website. Registered office: 383 Durnsford Road, London, SW19 8EF. For privacy requests, email ihanif@tek480.com.

1. Information we collect

When you register an interest, the website asks for your first name, last name, email address, postcode or town, participation category, and optionally telephone number, area of interest and a free-text message. The form also sends its source, page URL, submission time and your enquiry-contact acknowledgement. It includes an optional, separate selection for marketing updates.

Our web host may process routine technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps and request logs for website operation and security. This static website uses browser storage for your chosen theme and to remember dismissal of the short privacy notice during your browser session. It currently contains externally hosted photographic assets.

2. Why we use it and our lawful bases

We do not sell your enquiry details. An enquiry does not enrol you into a paid service or create a Suportr wallet.

3. Where information goes

Enquiry submissions are sent to a Google Apps Script endpoint and may be stored in a private Google Sheet controlled by TEK480 LIMITED. Google may act as a service provider and process associated information in other countries. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process routine traffic or logs. Photography on the landing page is requested from Unsplash-hosted URLs; when those photographs load, the image provider may receive standard connection information, including your IP address.

We share information only where needed to run the service, with appropriately engaged service providers, or where legally required. We do not claim that community groups or merchants automatically receive your enquiry details.

4. Transfers outside the UK

Some providers may process personal data outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, we must use a valid mechanism such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards and assess associated risks. The actual Google Workspace/Apps Script, hosting and image-delivery arrangements must be checked against this notice before publication.

5. Retention and security

Our intended operational policy is to delete or anonymise general-interest enquiry information within 12 months of the last meaningful interaction unless there is a continuing relationship, lawful request, dispute or legal obligation requiring longer retention. Server logs may be held for shorter technical or security periods according to hosting settings. Access to enquiry sheets should be restricted to authorised personnel and protected by account controls. This retention schedule must be implemented operationally, not merely stated on this page.

6. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to be informed, access your information, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, and portability. You may withdraw marketing consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. To exercise your rights or ask a question, email ihanif@tek480.com or write to our registered office. We will assess requests under the applicable statutory rules and deadlines.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are dissatisfied with how personal data is handled.

7. Cookies, device storage and third-party content

Collecting a visitor's details using a form does not itself mean a cookie-consent banner is required. A consent mechanism is required where non-exempt cookies or similar device storage technologies are used. The supplied Suportr page has no embedded advertising or behavioural analytics tracker; that statement must be reviewed whenever the site changes.

Display preference control

You can opt out of remembering your colour-theme choice. Suportr will then open in dark mode by default, while you can still toggle appearance for the current page.

8. Children's information

This general-interest registration page is not specifically directed at children and is not intended for submission of a child's personal data. Please do not submit sensitive information about yourself or others in the free-text field.

9. Updates

We may update this notice when the service, legal requirements, or data-processing arrangements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date, with additional notice where required.
